Tastes Like Poetry is a poetic work that combines theatre and music in a rich and complex relationship. The piece is a ‘rom-com’ that interrogates the trajectory of our relationships and why many of us only reveal our true selves after the honeymoon is over. A two hander, the musician is off stage while the poetry is narrated in English blended with isiXhosa. Audiences of 17+ will enjoy this comedic exploration of the complexities of our relationships.
