About the Artists

Mandisi Dyantyis

Mandisi Dyantyis is an Afro-Soul-Jazz artist and a multi award nominee and award winning recipient. He has Sold Out every major stage or theatre in South Africa. Mandisi has also toured the world for 20 years with the Isango Ensemble Theatre Company, for which he is an associate director and musical director. He is a prolific composer for film, stage and television, which has seen his work portrayed across the globe. The “Live” stage is his home and his charismatic energy and allure needs to be witnessed, to fully understand Mandisi Dyantyis.

Skank & The Roots

Skank and the Roots, Gqeberha's groove masters, have been pumping out roots reggae since the early 90s. Led by the fiery vocals of Skank, their original tunes carry positive messages and get feet moving from Uitenhage to Brazil (catch them at Feeln Festival in May!). They've rocked iconic stages like SA Indies Week and Absa Vuka Fest, even electrifying Nelson Mandela himself back in '93. Their recent awards recognize their musical fire, and their clean vibe appeals to all ages. Join the skank – it's peace, love, and reggae magic.

Khanyisa Bunu

From Eastern Cape classrooms to Netflix screens, Khanyisa Bunu isn't just hilarious, she's a powerhouse of creativity. This multilingual comedian conquers stages (think 99 Xhosa Comedy and opening for Trevor Noah!), pens acclaimed novels like "Umbhodamo," and charms radio and TV audiences. You'll find her in "Dirty Money" and "Big Nunu's Little Heist," and her journey's just getting started. Watch out for this multi-talented force of laughter – she's bound to leave her mark, one chuckle at a time.
