About the Artists
Born Siyamthanda Nondlwana on the 30th of June 1995 in Walmer Township, Gqeberha. Siya started singing in high school and in church where he realized that he had a special gift in music. In 2015 he joined Joliza and his band as a backing vocalist until 2022 when he decided to explore a solo career in music. Siya has performed as a backing vocalist in various events such as the National Arts Festival in Makhanda in 2022, the Mandela Bay Arts Festival 2022, Ebubeleni’s All-White Heritage Day Picnic in 2022, Masibuyelembo Cultural Blast in 2022 and IsiXhosa Music Festival in 2023.
