About the Artists

The band Touch was formed in 1982, consisting of the late Erol Cuddembey, Manny Moore, Mickey Pillay and Loppies. Over the years the band has played across the Mandela Bay Metro, as well as received invitations to the major towns in the Eastern Cape, with a special invitation for a tour of Durban, including performing at the famous Palladium Night Club in Isipingo and the Manhattan Night Club, Durban. Today, with the majority of the members in their 60's, they decided to rename themselves as Urban Touch. Most recently, they performed at the 2023 Metro Splash Fest and The Northern Areas Music Festival. Over the years, the band has shared stages with some of the country's greatest musos including Dudley Tito, Steve Fataar (Flames), Winston Peterson, Robbie Jansen and Mike Ngolo, as well as Jerry Kunene and Patrick Pasha.
