A R2 or so

BYS,

Live Performance

A R2 or So is a theatrical tragicomedy based on the Mandela Bay Northern Areas’ less fortunate people. With both laughter and sadness, the play highlights the stories of beggars, and the difficult life decisions they have made along the way. The characters in this play have been meeting at the corner shop everyday for the past 5 years. Even though they have completely different personalities they seem to be stuck together creating some type of friendship. They all come to run away from their problems at home, except for Calvin. He has nowhere to go because he lives on the street, precisely in the bushes across the road from the corner shop.

A R2 or So goes with the well known saying "laugh to keep from crying" and all of the happenings in this play are true to life.
